About Us

Welcome to Children's Health of Ocala! Our mission is to provide comprehensive pediatric medical care to infants, children, and teens. We strive to be the baby doctor of choice for the community of Ocala, FL by providing personalized care and treating the children seen in our offices as if they are one of our own. If you are expecting a baby, we would be honored to be your baby's doctor. After your baby arrives, we would like to schedule the first well child visit within 2-3 days of discharge and then at regularly scheduled intervals as your baby grows and develops from childhood through their teens. well child visits

Should you visit the pediatrician if your child is not sick? Regular well child visits are an important part of preventative care for children. That's why Children's Health of Ocala schedules regular well child visits as your child grows and develops. During these visits, your pediatrician will track your child’s development, assure they are up-to-date on any vaccinations, and review the child’s growth and care. It's also a great opportunity to ask any questions you or your child may have.

We believe that vaccines are safe and effective and that childhood vaccination is the most important health-promoting and disease-preventing intervention we can provide your child. As pediatricians serving the Ocala, FL community, the health of our patients is our top priority and it is our duty to protect EVERY child in our practice. We follow the vaccination schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have. 

Circumcisions

There are many opinions on whether or not to circumcise a newborn based on medical, religious, cultural and ethnic traditions as well as personal reasons. If you do choose to circumcise your baby, Children's Health of Ocala can perform the procedure in our offices within the first 30 days after birth. We utilize several methods are used to minimize discomfort and calm your baby during the procedure.
